From what I've been able to piece together, Fordman either runs or works at a junkyard in or near Ottawa Kansas (not sure where that is in relation to Pittsburg)

I'd spend some money with him, but I just laid down $180 and a rebore Bolo Mauser for a Luger.

i dont do either. i go out to the local junkyard almost daily to see if there are any new stuff fo rmy trucks or others trucks. when i feel like taking parts off. or i can do it easily enough. of course they arent a junkyard. they are a recycle center so they dont tbother saving any cars or trucks. they just mash them when ever they feel like it. so soemtimes i have to choose want i want first before i pull parts. because i have to get what i want first. before the truck goes away. kind of liek this last deal i bought. i got the third member out of a 8.8. and i went back the next day to pull the pinion out. and the truck had been flipped right side up and put in the big pile. so i lost money on the third member. i now need a matching pinon for it. which they dont have any more.

Keep your eyes open for a 318 polysphere with a dual four barrel setup on it, or a ZF five speed to fit '89 BMW 325i.

Just keep your eyes open. You might see one or the other. Actually the manifold for the wideblock is the scarcer of the two. Most of those had a really lame two barrel (like mine).

i dont even know what that is. i am kind of surprised at what has been junked int he past. i have even seen two lexus's out there with almost nothing looking to be wrong with them. i thought that was kind of wierd. there is a triumph out there right now but it is a project and a half.
