re: rear bumper
I have no idea what your bumper looks like, there's nothing in your gallery, so you're going to have to post a pic so we can make a guess or two.

re: rear bumper
Mine's the same. Mounted on two big ol pieces of pipe. It weighs as much as a Honda, and is as ugly as a Yugo. Nice girl totaled her brand new VW on it and cried and cried while I was scraping lime green paint (hers) off the bumper with my leatherman.
Poor VW, never had a chance.

Re: re: rear bumper
Yep, same thing happened with me and a taurus, that thing was tost and I brushed off my bumper and called it good. I was thinking of getting a roll pan someday when my project really heats up, but with the way people seem to like to rearend me I might keep that ugly thing on the backshrektruck wrote:Mine's the same. re: rear bumper
Well now that everyone is so impressed with this "handsom" option, does anyone know how to do the un-thinkable...changing it back to a normal bumper?
I may be considering Camper Special mutilation, but boy is it ugly hangin down 3-4 inches and back 4 more from the gate.
Thanks
Bill

re: rear bumper
I think your best bet is to do the radical surgery. Grind off the mounts and welds and fabricate new brackets.
I plan on a regular chrome bumper with the back up lights in it. There's one in LMC that looks nice.

Yep those are for the 11ft campers on the camper specials The 70 I just got rid of had adjustable air shocks on the rear also. I thought leaving the bumper extended out would work out nicely with all the crappy drivers around town lately that like to ride your butt.

That's the one I plan to use, too.
