Front end swap
Just need some info on transplanting a mid 70's 1/2 ton chevy truck frontend into my 69' f-100 SWB. Is it a bolt in job? Has anyone done this? Please Help!!

re: Front end swap
welcome!!!!!!
but why would you want to do that? i am guessing you want your truck lower. i would use drop i beams before i put a chevy front end under it. plus there not any front ends that will just bolt in. if i where you i would use a mustang II like my truck has. pics are located at the link below.

if theres a new way, i'll be the first in line. it better work this time
1970 crewcab 393w afr heads, 6 speed, turbocharged, 6 piston calipers 13" rotors on all 4 corners

re: Front end swap
my 70 had a ltd front on it. it was ok but you still needed to do alot work to the front to re-attach the rad support and the front bumper brackets. the mustang two you dont have to cut the frame. just cut out the old one out and weld the new one in.

re: Front end swap
Thanks Guys! I will probably go with the drop I-Beams. It's just that I have a front end from a 1/2 ton chevy that is already lowered and figured I could save a few dollars, if I do decide to take on the challenge i will certainly let you know and send pictures.
