Crown Vic Front Suspension ?'s

Post by rsjohnsn »

Hi all! For those of you using the Crown Vic front crossmember, what engines are you running? Will it support the 390 or 460's? Also, what are the dimensions of the crossmember or what others will work, Mercury, Lincoln etc. ?

Thanks
Scott

I got mine from a police car

and I'm putting this 331 in

Because you have to fab up your own mounts, you can put any motor you like in your truck.

After the bugs are worked out with the small block we're going to a 521 or bigger

The Crown vic is exactly 36 inches from spring tower to spring tower, so if your vehicle frame was 35 1/2 you could sneak it in.
