My custom wheels have seen better days, I would like to get them powder coated ( I think ). The EPA has made re-chroming a past time of the idle rich.
Has anyone powder coated a wheel before? Any idea what it might cost? Will it stand up to daily driving?

I think some new cars wheels are powder coated from factory. I may be wrong about that, but paint with clear coat over it holds up, so powder coat should hold up fine.

Damn, 7 gallons per mile, obviously FE powered!
I've seen a set on a bug that are powered coated and etched . Actually factory karman Ghia spokes , powder coated spokes black and had the outer bead edges scrolled like the chrome on the 60 series Impala "SS"
