body drop

Post by creeped out 67 »

Hey guy's I don't know what category this goes under because it kinda goes under everything.Has anybody channeled and body dropped their bump.I've dropped my bump 4' and want to go lower but I want to use my existing suspension .I know it would be alot of work but I think it would be worth it in the end.Does anyone have any pics, ideas,or comments any would be appreciated,Thanx

channeling a body is old style work. my dad told me once the basics of it. but he never really said exactly how to do it. i would think yo umay end up basically cutting a channel through the floor and installing the mounts up higher on the firewall and in back of hte cab which means the gas tank would have to be moved up or out of the cab. the core support and bed would be harder to do. well maybe not the bed. but the core support i dont know right now.
