My first serious girl friend was named Suzie... and she was "Hot" with a capital "H"...

The "hot" song on the radio was "Suzie Q" by CCR ... I know what year that was, do you?

Oh yeah this thread is about trucks... what wuz I thinkin'
I'd run some flusher stuff through it and flush it out with a hose first... If it works, you've saved yerself a few bucks, if it don't, you haven't spent a lot doing it.

No, Suzy Q by CCR was popular in 1968 or so. The original by Dale Hawkins was 1956, I think.

yeppers I know'd there be a couple of old timers here...
The song "Susie Q" was in fact on CCR's first album... of the same name...
(Album... a black vinyl disk. approximately 12" in diameter, with grooves cut into the vinyl at various depths and widths that was converted into sound waves by a needle and magnetic cartridge that read the grooves)
The year was 1968...
Just one more proof that...
'68 ROCKS !!!

When I first bought my Mustang I had the same problem. It had been sitting for 11years, and started right up by the way  I loosened the bottom radiator hose at the radiator, popped it loose and let it drain. Stuck it back on, filled it up with the waterhose, let'er run a few minutes and did it again. I think I did this 6 times before it came out clear. It was unbelievable how much black & rusty gunk came out. It hasn't run hot since.
