NEW TO FORDS NEED HELP!

Post by deuceswild69 »

ok so I consider myself a novice and admittedly I'm new to Fords.... so I'm looking at getting this long block for my '69 F250 and the guy sent me some pictures. What the heck are these three clamshell collars or caps? I cant for the life of me figure it out and I bow down to you guys for your expertise! Thanks!

v8... I'm looking at it and I'm almost thinking it might be a 351, but my better judgement tells me its just a 5.0.

again, I'm pretty damn sure its a 5.0 but the lip from the deck to the water neck looks indicative of a 351.....

yeah me too.... I've built a few motors and been around enough to know that I have no clue what they are.... maybe if I end up getting the motor, I'll have a better idea if they even go to it or not haha.
