Is the 4300 Autolite really that bad?

Is the 4300 Autolite really that bad?
I've been reading on the autolite 4300. Does it really suck (for lack of a better word) that much as far as ford carbs go?

Honestly I don't know, but I bet its better than half the holleys I've had. The 2100 is great, so why wouldn't the 4300
