King pin reamer on ebay.....

is it worth it to buy this or just take it to a machine shop? Whats involved in doing them yourself?

Personall, I would take my king pins to a machine shop.
Without the machine, knowledge, and skill to use the tool properly, you could ruin your parts.

Seeing as this reamer is adjustable, it would require more skill to use than a straight non adjustable reamer. You would have to mic the cutters to get the proper ream and these style reamers can leave chatter marks if turned at the wrong speed. But for running them through brass bushings, I wouldn't imagine this would be too much of a problem since the brass is really quite soft compared to the cutters.

Guess it comes down to how many times are you going to end up using this tool? It could be a gold mine in a neighborhood of Ford trucks ... or just something special to lug around for years.
