if you have the standard in-cab tank just add the under bed tank from another 67-72 truck. I did it on my 67.
I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can. http://s169.photobucket.com/albums/u223/imabaka70/ Projects listed on the left side
WOOOT!! i passed my mechanics classes. Now working as a mechanic and waiting to go for my ASE certifications.
I have a spare tank that mounts in the bed if you want it for $50+ shipping. I believe it is about a 15-20 gallon tank. I believe they are called Saddlebag tanks?

they made several tanks for our trucks. the under bed tanks sat between the frame rails. it was a 25 gallon tank. they also made dealer add on tanks. they sat outside the frame rails and were plastic and steel both. i have two of the steel dealer add on tanks on my truck. one for both sides. i am going to be taking them off some day and putting a inframe tank on my truck.
Here are the pictures, the one I'm selling is the black one, you can see my other one just like it installed and unpainted in my bed right next to it. They both had about 4 different colors of paint on them including the original yellow, red, brown, and grey. I sanded most of it off and painted that one black and haven't emptied my other tank yet so I can take it off and paint it. I'm eventually going to cover it with hercules bed liner anyway so I don't care about how it looks.
It doesn't leak and feels solid all the way around. The guy before me used it until the rubber neck hose started leaking then he just used the drivers side.
the inframe is a midship type of tank they call it now days. it sits right under the bed on the drivers side. they can be found mostly on camper specials F250's at the junkyard. sometimes on ebay. or from a forum member.
