install 1975 vaccum brake booster to 1972 truck

i would like to install a vaccum brake booster on my 1972 ford truck. i need to know if you can put a 1975 vaccum brake booster on my 1972 ford truck. the 1972 truck has manual brakes. i would like to know if that one don't fit which one will fit. the donor truck is a 1975 ford truck.

You will need brackets to put any booster on your truck. From '73-'79 there were brackets and a linkage that you would need. If it is from '68-'72 you just need brackets, no linkage.

where do i get these brackets to bolt the booster on . would they be on the donor truck. also can i use my old master cylinder over. thanks

should be on the donor truck and yes you should be able to use your old mc but i would replace it with a current version with the larger reservoir.

just make sure the push rod that goes to the brake pedal is the same as the one you are removing.

yes the brackets come from donor trucks. reuse your old master cylinder. a larger resivor master is for larger wheel cylinders on your truck. also you will need your old master or if you are goign to discs use a disc brake master cylinder only with the disc brakes.
