Instrument panel bezel-70 Sport Custom
A PO had the screws that hold the bezel on replaced with hex head sheet metal screws(course thread).Did the original screws have this type of thread??

Yes, same type of thread, but they're supposed to be beveled Phillips-head screws to fit into the countersunk hole in the bezel.
