new to the site
Hey I'm Scotty, I'm 17 and have owned my 1968 Ford F100 1/2 ton for almost 2 years now and have brought it back to road worthy condition from what was almost dead... the motor started and the lights turned on, that was about it... the transmission/clutch linkage was shot and you had to start the thing in gear to drive it... I have a profile on CARDOMAIN.com that shows the progress and changes I've made to my truck... keep in mind, I'm a senior in high school, bought this bad boy for 500 bucks in the spring of sophomore year (2007) and have been working hard ever since... still am... but again, i'm in high school, i've done a lot of the work myself, and i haven't really had a big budget to blow on the street rod, so it still has its kinks that need to be worked out, but overall its one of the meanest cars in the parking lot at my school of about 2500 students... - Scotty

Re: new to the site
thank you! My truck's trim was long gone by the time I got to it, so where the body moulding trims were supposed to go, I decided I'd paint black... not a professional paint job, but the idea shows through, I like them a lot, thank you for your compliments

Welcome from Oklahoma!!
Thats a slick looking old Ford you have. Glad to hear your enjoying it.
I love your old school finned valve covers. I think the black wrinkle covers really set a motor off.
EDIT: Is that a V8 can over the coil?? You sly dog!

I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can.
