New member checking in
Hello All,
Lee Gathers here from western Pennsylvania. In August this year I bought a fairly solid 1968 F100 2wd. It has a built up 390V8 with a c6 trans. Stock nine inch rear end with 3.25 ratio. Plans for now are to get as much bodywork done as possible before the weather gets too cold. I repaired the right front cab mount and have replaced both rear cab corners so far. I am also planning on upgrading to 3/4 ton suspension/brakes. Future use involves towing a 5000lb camper we have and a horse trailer(whenever that gets bought).
Looks like a great website for research material and questions I have. Been alot of years since I messed with Ford trucks. I was a Ford truck mechanic briefly in 1991-92.
I'll go to appropriate forums with questions.......Lee

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome!
Alleycat asked where I'm at in Pa. We are an hour north of Pittsburgh in the New Wilmington area. That is between New Castle and Sharon.
