Side door mirrors

Post by jim bruce »

Nearing the end of a ground up restoration on my 67 camper special and am looking for a more modern type door mirror. Have two different sizes of Ford west coast mirrors but decided not to use either in favor of a lower more modern looking mirror. Electric mirrors would be preferred. Does anyone have suggestions on where to look for new door mirrors that will fit the 67-72 ford truck? Thanks in advance, jim. PS. Will be posting the west coast mirrors when time permits.

I'm thinking about the chevy sport mirrors like was on the 80's el-caminos, malibus, etc. I don't know if body colored mirrors would look right though. They aren't electric, but some are inside cable operated.

what about adapting the mirrors from a current f150 or a nissan titan?

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~
