New Member from WAsington State
Hello,
I am currently performing a ground up restoration of a 1972 F100 Sport Custom, 390 engine, 4 speed manual, 2WD. The truck was given to me by my father. The vehicle was purchased new by my Grandparents. My Grandfather passed away in 1975. My father then purchased the truck from my Grandmother.
The truck has special meaning to me as I washed and waxed most of the paint off of the truck when I was growing up. I have a lot of pictures to share of my progress.
Thanks

I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can.

from Virginia. Nice bump you got there. I agree with the earlier post, never let a truck with that kind of history get away. I wish my truck had that kind of history. The closest I have is a 72 that I started with my dad. He passed away before we got very far. That truck is special, even though it isn't very nice. I don't want to get rid of it, but I never forsee getting it done. Anyway, welcome aboard and keep puttering along with that bump. Oh, and by the way, nice FE also. I like the look of the black and silver. Makes for a great color combo and I'm sure it will motivate the old F100 rather well. Good luck, and keep us posted.
