for those that have wondered what a 67-69 grill looks like on a 71 truck using the 71's valance.

kinda interesting. the valance doesnt match up perfect with it being the wrong year.. the blinker space extends too far. but it looks good enough for a desert truck :D

That's what I want to do with my '71. My original grill is damaged and I like the steel grilles better anyway. I think the one I got is a 68. I have the valence to go with it but it's full of rust holes.

It'd be a shame to see that nice grill all smashed in with cactus thorns hangin out of it... thrash the '71 grille instead! (but it does look good! ;) ). I don't think the valance blinker gap looks bad at all.

nahh trust me, the 71 grill was WAAAAAAAAAY nicer than this grill. the 71 grill is easy to polish up nice but this grill has a bar cut out from the top section and has deep scrathes all over it.
its still kinda nice i guess, we'll see how long it takes for it to meet mr. cactus and bush and tree.

not like it will get hit by another truck's bumper though, we wont be doing much nerfing, but our rear bumper will be a twisted pile of scrap before too long lol going to have to re-inforce it quite a bit
