New guy from MN
Well Im new to this forum but I have come to this site for a couple years for information and decided to join, I have a 1968 F-250 2x4 4spd that I got for $300 from my dads friend, truck is rust free and the interior looks like it just came off the production line. My dads friend picked it up for $300 from a guy that week that told him that if it did not sell in a week it would be crushed so he gave him his 300 and brought it out to our house and sold it to me, it has a 360 with a bad rod knock so Im building a 400hp 390 for it. Ill try to post some pics if I can figure it out, I am currently looking for a set of wheels and tires for it as it still has split rims, I would like the aluminium rims from like a 95 F-250 but if I get a good deal on steel wheels I take that. I would like to find some relatively tall tires being it has 410 gears and i don't really want to change them right now.

G'day from Australia.
Photo's are easy, Mate.
Go get a Photobucket.com account, upload your photo's to that site, and then place the URL links from Photobucket into the text of your Fordification message. Thats how it works. I hope I have explained it correctly.

the tall tires have helps with my f250 with the 410 gears. So far i will say i like the 410 gears for easy removal of fence posts that are cememted into the ground

I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can.

I personally do not have any more trucks here, but I do have a lot of parts and we still have about 17 complete 460s that we are selling as core motors or selling parts off of, when my dads friend got this truck it was on the side of the road for $300, it had 06 tabs on it and the guy was still driving it when it started knocking, it was the original owner and he had a camper in the bed since it was new, so the bed has no rust either,Ill have to post a pic, but the guy said if it was not gone by the end of the week it was getting crushed, so I bought it, I was originally looking for a 78 or 79 F-250 but I'm glad I got the 68, I now like the 67-72 trucks more.spartman wrote:FOR a MN truck that sure is sharp!
Got any more of those valuables over there?
