Kinda-n00b from the GREAT state of Utah
Howdy all. I've been on here for a few weeks, but took me 'til now to post my intro. My name is Jason. I'm a county jail Corrections Officer in Utah. I just recently acquired a '67 f100 for $700. The original purpose for the truck was to be a dump runner/hauler. The body is pretty straight. Some small spots rusted through on the cab floor and fenders, but still clean. It had a 352 FE from the factory, but one of the previous owners dropped in a '73 small bellhousing 400. With it came a new heavy-duty radiator, a set of headers, Magnaflow dual exhaust, stock replacement chrome bumpers, and aluminium wheels.
Future plans include: Exterior- patch panels for the rusted out areas, a couple coats of Rust Bullet paint Interior- new head liner, gauge panel, new bench seat, replacement metal door panels Drivetrain- rebuild 400 with 20 or 30 overbore, Tmeyer "zero" deck pistons, built-up Aussie heads with roller-rockers, cams, either a chain or gear driven timing set, and pull my FMX tranny to replace with a C6.

I'll get pics Mike. Chill. I have been working so much that I feel like I've been living at the jail.

Another warm California welcome!
Sounds like you've already come down with the addiction... trucks that start out as dump-runners tend to turn into family heirlooms!
Good luck on your build!
