new to the forum with questions
I am new to the forum. I have a 69 f100. The tag with all the vin info on it says that it was rated at 175 hp at 400 rpm, but the engine code indicates that it was a 360 auto. It also has a clutch pedal and the vin # indicates that it was an automatic.

Hey Lightning...
Welcome to the forum...
That's pretty normal...
Some of these trucks had multiple power plant changes and other alterations by previous owners... You can never be sure.
The vin #'s only tell you what was in it when it came off of the assembly line...
