new guy from canada
i got a card in the mailbox the other day for this site from some kid and thought i would check it out, already im addicted to this site, im loving every minute of the photo gallery and i just started pokin my nose around here. i have a 1967 F100 with a 352 which i hope to upgrade to a 390 or bigger in the future. its all in pieces right now in the back yard, right down to the frame and suspension. rain hasnt been nice so i havent been getting to it in a month or so. i plan to lower it about 4 or 5" in the front and 5 in the back.i was thinking a shackle flip in the back and some i beams or IFS in the front. im going to kind of rat rod it with a flat black and flat white 2 tone, along with an upgraded interior, tilt column, a dvd player with some good audio, and i was thinking a bench seat from the 87-91 XLT Lariat with the fold down center. anyways im rambling and daydreaming, ill catcha all later.

Welcome from Idaho! I suppose I might be called one of the 'rat rodders'. Nothing too fancy and definitely low budget all the way (at least for now). I still need to drop mine. I've got a set of DJM beams (for '78 spindles and discs) waiting to go in the front along with roughly one full coil cut out and I plan on flippin' the front leaf hanger for the back for an overall 3-4" (front) and 4-5" (back). I went with semi-flat paint and red steelies for the exterior and my latest addition is my diamond plate gauge cluster and 32" Lokar floor shifter with the knob about 8" above the dash! Sounds like you've got a good plan for your truck. You have definitely come to the right place as there are a lot of great people, ideas, knowledge, and TRUCKS on this site! Now, get busy ASAP and let's see some updates with pics! Good luck and have fun!
