Body seams

What is the best way to reseal the body seam that runs above the rear window and across the back of the cab?

I used a seam sealer from Napa's automotive paint store. I got the tube type, like a chalking gun. Worked good and leveled out pretty good, then went over all the new sealer with a clean cloth soaked in mineral spirits to get it smooth and clean up the goof-ups.
