Fender removal and leaves - pics

Thought someone would get a kick out of this - I took the passenger fender off today to check some small rust area. I spotted a bit of moss hanging from some opening on the cab and an hour later finished pulling all the leaves out. Don't know it was a mouse or if they came in through the cowl but holey moley!!

yep. thats actually not as much leaves i got out of both my trucks. its amazing isnt it?

they all just come in from the cowl vents.

I guess it's even more surprising that there isn't any rust!

I was similarly shocked when I pulled a bunch out while installing a new antenna and replacing the gasket around the driver's side cowl vent. Then I thought about it -- 35 years of leaves falling, even with just a fraction of them hitting the right spots , really adds up!!
