is this how u change disk brakes on a 69 ranger

i cant find a manual for this truck ,is this the same as changing my toyota brake pads.,

1. remove wheels.
2. remove caliper
3. push back piston
4. install pads
5 put caliper back on,
cant be any different than my toyota install can it???

Pretty much the same, just bigger. And if memory serves our trucks with the disk brakes have dual pistons to compress when changing the pads. But it has been a few years since I did my brakes, your results will vary.........LOL

Much easier in fact....
You don't have to feed the truck rice and throw metric tools around to get it to cooperate! :lol:

If your 69' has front discs that's pretty much all that's required.

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
