Hello from CA
Hi, my name's Eric and I was just told about this forum yesterday. I spent a few hours last night reading some of your FAQs and how-tos and a ton of posts and I can't believe how much great information is here.
Anyway, I have a 1971 F100 2WD longbed with a 302. It's been in my family since day one and I just recently decided to start fixing it up and upgrading a few things.
I also have a '54 Customline which has also been in my family a long time. I won't tell you what's under the hood, though. I don't want to get kicked off the forum on my first day...

Welcome from a fellow Californian!
Whereabouts are ya located? There are several others of the 'left coast' persuasion here.
Make sure to post up some pics of the rides - I for one would love to see the old Customline (and no one's gonna boot ya for a bowtie mill... we'll just expect you to 'upgrade' as soon as possible! )

re: Hello from CA
Thanks for the warm welcome. I live in Elk Grove, which is just south of Sacramento.
I don't have any pics of the F100 right now, but I'll try to remember to take a few and put them up here. It's pretty ugly but never fails to start and has an 8 foot bed - what else could I want?
In the meantime, here's a couple of the '54 for those who are interested.
