on the end of my camper special bed there are mounting holes below the bump. what goes here, reflectors or some sort of emblems?[/i]

someone probably had some sort of tie down hook on it. it might have even been a factory hook for a camper. i dont know the camperspecaisl that well.

these aint meant to tie somthing down. they are just two holes about two inches from each other on each side of the end of the bed below the bump. i cant find any pics of any other camper spec. to see what they are.

That is were the rear reflectors go. At least they do on my 68 F100. I am trying to find a pic for you.

yup hotrod ford...

The two holes, (on each side) are for the rear side reflectors that were required on all '68 models.
Here's a pic of my '68 F-250 Camper Special like yours.

click on pic to enlarge...
The PO also installed rear side marker lights...
I'm debating about removing them.
