How to take off the chrome rain gutter trim???
I'm trying to take off the chrome trim on my '69 F100 over the rain gutter. Mine has some good scuffs that won't polish out so I'd like to put on some better looking trim that I found. How hard is it to take that on and off? How can I go about it?

its a pain to get off on the ones ive done. my neighbor made me a quick tool to use to get it off above the windshield. it is a piece of aluminumn with a notch cut into it. i just place a board on the winshield and pry from underneath. i can also use it with a board on the side windows but i havent had that much problem with the side windows trim. i used a screwdriver on that.

nearly impossible to get off old cars safely, you run a risk! I have tried with a small flathead and failed. I have heard you can use a thing they give you at paint shops that is a small metal churchkey made for opening paint can lids and work the trim off. After failure twice this is one thing I'm scared to jump on anymore.
