Drip Rail Caulking Material Question

Finally got around to removing the hideous windshield fairing previous owner riveted to cab and lo and behold, corrosion around drip rail. I plan to either weld, braze or seal all rust but was wondering what replacement material for caulking that sits in the bottom of drip rail? Thinking of using the caulking version of POR 15 after I coat everything with the normal POR 15. Open to suggestions? Also noticing that windshield frame is corroding where everything leaks down. Will have to pull windshield out to sand and primer the frame to see if salvagable. Don't have a clue what Ford used originally in drip rail but I have had good luck with POR 15.

Ford used a self-leveling seam sealer in the drip rail, and I'd recommend using that instead of POR-15...something like this from Eastwood:

However, you might be able to get away with using POR-Putty, though it's not going to look quite as smooth, IMO.

Thanks for the link. I also heard of a product from PPG, but it sounds like the same basic stuff. Must also have gold in it since the price seems to reflect it. Old trucks are great. You never know what you are going to get into, everytime you work on them.
