I can tell you that the firewall and floor rubber will most likely be destroyed in the removal process (35+ yr old rubber/vinyl!), so you might look into replacement pricing before proceeding.
FYI, California Mustang ( http://store.cal-mustang.com ) still has dash pads for sale for <$130 shipped. I got one and asked them how many were left - 'Lots of them'.

quotes money wise? the inside should be painted the same time the outside is. it just would be easier.

My interior was included in the price so it's difficult to break it out. I did all of the prep including the primer and final wet sand. Everything was out of the cab (just put it together enough to drive it down there). If you are going to have the dash painted it's a lot easier with the glass removed. Of course, you should remove all the door glass too. Here's a couple of photos of mine.

hello,
It all depends on the current quality of the cab........ what quality you want as a final outcome.... how much you are willing to do yourself when it comes to r&r work, and of course the color. A synthetic white with all reducers and catylist may be $40.00 or so, but a 3 stage red can run $300+ at times

Fordman not really at the same time but do it first then mask it closed right where the door seal will cover it. Then do the door jamb and the outside of the truck at the same time. This would be the way i would paint it. I also would have done the insides of the doors along with the inside of the cab. Then flip them over for the outside painting. This is :2cents:
