Hiya from Alabama

Post by 4th effie n counting »

Hi everyone, I like many found this site by accident, but it has already proved useful. My truck had drivers door replaced and I couldn't find the VIN,but I ended up here and found out VIN was also on the frame! By the way anyone know what the star in the VIN # is?
Yes I will get a couple pics of the FREE beast, best deal on a truck ever, and it runs (sorta).

so a quick question.. :? I tried to upload pics of my truck. I use highest quality on my camera settings but service I signed up to host pic only allows a max of 1024x768 resolutions.
Is there a free way ie paint or some such to save jpeg as a different size? I got a headache trying to crop and all. When I use photosuite I selected save as lower res. but it still kept the 2048x1024 res. please help if possible.

Oh and according to my VIN my truck has 240 L6 was built in Michigan in Aug. of 67. still no clue about the star at end of VIN

I upload the pictures to photobucket and then change size to post them. Also check out the how to post pictures link at the top of every index.
