is the bed for a swb reg cab the same for a swb crew cab?

As far as I could ever tell, yes it is the same as long as it is the same year of course. I had intended to get a 1980s flareside for the truck and had located a few for around $500. I betcha that over around Joplin, one of those salvage yards would have a good bed for you.
