Newbie from Mass

Post by pgkeating »

Been a truck guy all my life and had a chance to pick up a '67 F250 4X4. It reminded me of trucks I drove/rode in in Maine as a kid. It had a frame off 15-20 years ago. New sheet metal from the firewall forward. Bed came from the southwest. Now has a (somewhat) fresh 390 in place of the old 360. Going through the brakes, exhaust, new fluids etc. Getting the headers in was a two man chore. Any other advise from members what should be checked?

It's going to be used as a fun truck, so I won't put too many miles on her. Came with a Fisher 4 way, so I'll be plowing friends driveways for fun (although w/o P.S., it might be work).

Want to post pictures but am frustrated with the Coppermine "thing".

Any help?

Pete

Welcome from Nevada. :wel: Nice to see another 4x4.

You can try loading your truck pics to photobucket 1st then you can post the actual pics in threads along with adding a link to your photobucket page in your profile so everytime you post it is on your signature.

Welcome from NY. Not too many of us Northeasterners here. Probably because very few vehicles survive more than 15 years before they rot away, not to mention 40 years.

Welcome aboard!
I think Keith has the posting area on the galleries disabled until he gets the site moved to a different server.
