Not as long as it won't be in the dirt or at least in wet dirt. We have a bed from a '92 F250 that has been stored like that for 15 years on concrete and it is doing just fine.
'68 F150 2wd
'72 F250 2wd Camper Special (400/C6/4bbl)
'64 Galaxie 500 (3524bbl/57K miles)
'92 Grand Marquis (mostly stock 4.6L)
'97 F150 (heavily modded 5.4L)
'48 F1 (Flat 6)
'51 F3 (Flat V8 )
'56 F350 (engineless)

Yep, if stored on concrete, it'll last a long time. I know a woman who has had a '66 Mustang in her garage since 1971. Her husband worked for Ford and was given it as a "bonus". She drove it a few years, parked it in the garage, threw a cover over it and there it sat since. If you look underneath it, it looks brand new still!
