I need to get the crew stripped down to stop the rust that is starting to eat at the back doors and top of the cab. My question is after I get stripped and the rust repaired what is the best way to protect the metal. Is primer the best for vechicles or POR-15 or what? How many coats do you recommend. How many coats of paint? What is the best brand of paint that isn't too hard on the pocketbook.. How do you get the paint to look good where you welded patch panels in and ground them down.
Sorry don't know a thing about painting vechicles. Now if it was a tractor I wouldn't be asking these questions.
