removing weatherstrip adhesive

Post by Blue Cloud »

I know this was talked about before here but can't seem to find it. Anyone know what removes weatherstrip adhesive? It's the yellow kind (gorilla snot), 3M I think. Just put those on last summer, but took them off to prep the door sills for paint.

Its a long tough job removing all that old stuff. Supposed to ALL be removed before applying new. Rags, laquer thinner, scuff pads, sand paper, old knife or scraper, fingernails.
