Cab Mount Questions

Post by gonzalo medina »

Are the front two cab mounts bigger then the back two? All four almost look identical. Don't want this thing uneven.

The front two cab mounts are separate pieces. The rear mounts are actually just bolt-holes in the cab crossmember that bolts to a frame crossmember....they aren't separate pieces. Sounds like you've got two pairs of front mounts?

Sorry...I was referring to the rubber bushings. I bought a kit for the whole body and there not labeled.

Here's a picture of a comparison between the factory rear cab bushings and a set of replacements bought from LMC. IIRC the front bushings didn't have the vertical indentations along the sides.

so do you think its a bad idea to just make front mounts? cause i just cut to old bolt out, replaced it with a new bolt with a plate metal washer on top and im gunna just make cab mounts with some thick sheet mail
