Just saying hi from Texas....
I'm a long time user of FTE finding my way here for the first time. My first truck was a 1969 Ford Ranger. It was my mom's truck when I was a kid, then my Dads, then mine and now my younger brother has it. (although I keep trying to get him to sell it back to me)
Now I own more 1967-1972 trucks and parts trucks and parts of parts trucks, than I care to count. Needless to say, this place feels a lot like home.
I am loving reading about the project truck of Keith's. It's like the best book I've ever read. It's like doing a restoration in fast forward, I get to live the details and the steps with you. I've spent the last few days reading that and I'm about 2/3rds done and can't wait to see how things turn out.
It reminds me of my own personal tails with these trucks. I just picked up a 1967 SWB flareside site unseen that my Dad ran across. My current projects include two other 1967 SWBs, a 1969 F250 4x4 SWB and a Bronco that is probably beyond saving, but we'll see.
Anyway, I'm really enjoying the site. It's almost overwhelming the information I need to ingest here. I'll be reading around and hoping to find time to work on my truck as well.
Carrying on....

Welcome from AZ. I just moved back to Tucson from Houston a couple of years ago. We certainly do miss the food.
