Howdy all from NM (yes we are part of the US)
finally posting (I have been lurking)
I was looking for a truck for my oldest boy to learn to drive (don't trust him with my truck) and I found this beast a 1970 Ford F100 4spd 300 I6. I contacted the owner and found it was used for hauling junk and gravel, after talking to him and having a few beers, I was told to take it off of his hands for $25 and just get it out of his yard.

Howdy and welcome from West Texas! That was quite a score for $25, and you're not even close to washington state (they give away bumpsides up there)
What part of NM? I am from Rio Rancho, moved to Texas expecting to stay a short while and I am still here 10 years later <sigh>. My friends there tell me I have turned into a Texan, and they are not giving me a compliment when they say that

You're in Rio Rancho now, hmmm? I moved there in 1979 (yes I am quite old) hwy 528 was a 2 lane through there, cops were just about never seen. No Intel, that was where we rode dirtbikes. Last time I was there I hardly recognized it...just like ABQ, zillions of people, all going somewhere in a hurry. There are houses on ALL the places we used to have keggers when I was in High School ( I is a Cibola High grad). There are times when I really miss NM, but living in the country here in West Texas has spoiled me, I can't hardly stand to be in anything that even looks like a city
