i was just under my dad's mistress' 97 E150 (been doing alot of PM lately, but this is critter damage) replacing the rubber fuel fill hose from the tank to the neck (87$!!!!at ford thanks to mr rodent that chewed up the hose

) when i realised how similar in arangment it was to the aux tank in my CS, unfortunatly unlike the CS the E150 has a 45* bend at the tank and the straight NAPA hose wouldnt work (it tended to chug back/burp) so we ended up getting the dealer hose...
FWIW the whole filler neck and hose assembly (with vent hose) was ~145
and the outside has a nice round door with a finger recess on the door itself, just in case you want to look into that option...
i will prob be going with locking gas caps when i start driving it this spring, i have an twin engine Olds that consumes most of my time...go figure
race car comes before the tow vehicle
edit: woot 100th post...
i guess i read more than i post
