Paint job

Just curious as to how Keiths multi-layered paint job came out, where he was experimenting on painting a fender. Or anyone else who tried it.

I haven't had a chance to get back to it for a while now, so the last report you saw with me working on a fender is about as far as it's gotten.

However, I'm still debating on it. I'm almost thinking now that while it WILL save me some money, the time I'll have to invest in sanding it might be more than I have. Since my shop time is actually fairly limited, I'm beginning to think that maybe I'd just better bite the bullet and go the conventional route. I've got the gun, I just need to get the supplies. I don't know which way I'll go, but I'll let you know when I get to that stage.

Yea, it does seem like a long drawn out process. I thought maybe I may have missed something as I was out of town a while during that time.

From what you went through so far, does it seem to be possible to get a quality looking finished product? Or will it be just a step above rattle can?
