Body lines
has any one had this problem, all of my spacing is around 3/16 gap around the doors , but from the top of the fender to the bottom of the hood is 1/2 " to 5/8" ! The thing is i lined the hood up with the cow and this is what i wind up with, is this right ? I just don't remember that seam being that large !

re: Body lines
It doesn't have to be that big. You can raise the fender by loosening the rear middle and lower bolts and raising the inner fender in relation to the cab. Of course then you'll have to lower the hood hinges a little. Should make it look a little better.

re: Body lines
Can you push down on the back of the hood and close the gap? Sounds like your hood hinges are worn out.

No i can't push down on the hood ! The top of the hood is flush with the cow and the bottom lines up with the lower edge of the cow so i would think it is where it should be i just don't remember that line so large .

re: Body lines
Hi keith, to answer your question at the door from the top of the fender to the bottom of the cow is 1/2" ! If i lift the fender the body line at the bump will not match, if i drop the hood, the cow and the rear of hood will be offset also it won't be flush on top!
