one finger steering

Post by cjs_72f250 »

hey guys, i had a power steering setup, but there was no pump and a bad Saginaw box. i finally fixed my power steering box and got a pump in. i actually steered my F250 with one finger today. for 1.5 years i've been steering that beast with Popeye arms after eating a can of spinach!!

i forget what thread it was in, but Keith mentioned it's nearly 8 times more difficult to steer when the setup is not meant to be manual steering. he's right...i'm so glad i've got the power steering in there now. i damn near felt like the wheel was going to fall in my lap that's how easy it was to handle.

(only issue, got a p/s pump from the junkyard that howls and the wheel is spins crooked. well, at least it'll last me a little while)
