paint stripping?
is there a chemical that i can use to stip my old paint off of my truck, or am i stuck to sanding it? i am planning on stripping all the paint off of my truck, and getting rid of the rust, and holes, with a tig welder, and a grinder. and then painting it with primer, and then paint.

yes kleen strip makes a aircraft striper that works great. But it makes it work better if you can take a grinder and scratch the surface with 24 or 36 grit 16 will work also but a little bit over kill for my taste. Just remember you are only wanting to scratch the topr of the old paint to open it up for the striper to work quicker and easier. Just follow the directions on the can and you should be just fine.
