1965 F-350

Post by jor »

I have an opportunity to pick up a 65 F-350 flatbed for free. I am told the body is perfect as is the glass. It has a steel flatbed with a headache bar, dual wheels but lacks engine and transmission. I'm still kicking this around as I don't really need the truck, don't really have any place to put it and so on. Guess I could part it out. Looking for some comments.

You can't beat free! I'd definitely snag that and worry about where to put it afterwards. Then I'd just slap a bumpside cab and front end on it and have a cool work truck....not that I need another project.

I'd jump all over that!
get it, drop an engine and tranny in it and sell it, if nothing else. quick cash.
or give it to me....

You know,John, a guy once gave me two Fiat 850 convertibles---and I ended up somehow losing money on them....If you don't have a place to keep it,it makes it kinda tough...If it's been sitting a while, you might end up spending some good money on tires just to tow it somewhere...If you're looking to turn a profit on it,you'll be better off putting as little $$ as possible into it...On the other hand,if you're one of those people like me,who prefer to have more projects laying around than you could possibly complete in one or two lifetimes, than by all means, drag 'er home...
This is the point...I'm....talking about everybody! I'm talking about form! I'm talking about content! I'm talking about interrelationships! I'm talking about God, the devil, hell, heaven!!!! Do you understand???? Finally!!!!

If you are going to part it out and it is in good shape I say let someone get it that is going to fix it and use it :(
These old trucks are becoming rarer by the minute so dont cut her up please
