i think on most older style trucks like this they were still useing gear oil for the tranny fluid...(i know my 67 is gear oil)........so look at local stores and see what they say..........and where to refill it is on the tranny it self all manuels are like this .......it is either on the top or on the side..

depends on the year of truck ETC.........It should be aboe the drian plug......Either on the side or top of the Tranny...If its not on the top look in the cab for a possible Access Hatch (held down by some bolts or scwes) other then that a picture might help to better assit you

my 3spd man. in my 1967 has a drain plug on the bottom of the trans , i believe and it should be 80w90 gear oil factory. i put 75 w90 for synthetic in my and it shifts so much better, especially in the winter.

Be very careful when filling it. The reverse lever pivot looks an awful lot like a fill plug and if you back it out, the reverse lever will fall down in the case and you will have to remove and dissassemble the tranny to fix it.
