headlight problems

On my 67 the headlights are having some problems. The brights work fine every time I turn them on. But when I turn them off to just put the headlights on half the time they don't come on. A week or so ago everything worked fine...Yesterday only one of them would turn on, the day before that I had nothing, and today none of them come on again. I really don't know much about electrical, so what do you guys think I should look at?

well, don't laugh but i had a similiar problem with the headlights on the 69. It would go out and then when i parked it, the lights would be working part of the time. The problem became the dimmer switch on the floor of the truck. Replaced it and have not had the problem again.

Yep, dimmer switch.

Try exercising your switch, step on it a gazillion times. That will get you lights until you can replace the switch.
