Ok so I replaced the short metal brake line on the wheel cylender and the actuall wheel cylender itself. I cleaned all the brake parts till they were like new, the wheel bearings were in amazing shape so I repacked them with ford wheel bearing grease and put the drum back together. the brakes work ok I guess but still pulls to the left when braking so I go under the car and adjust the adjuster on the drums I adjust it to the point of right before the pads lock the drum. where it will still free spin. same thing though , a little better but still pulling to the left. the brake light on the dash is still on. and from what I read it is to indicate you have a hydraulic leak. I dont see any leaks anywhere. I guess im stuff with changing them all out? even the lines across the truck. or is there another fix for this problem?
thanks

re: Brake light on the dash still on?
on the drivers side under the truck in the left frame there is a block valve with 5 brake lines and an electrical connection. there is a cylinder in the valve that moves if the front or back lines lose pressure. once it moves, it triggers the light. the light will remain on until you reset the valve by loosening the correct line side (front/back) and slowly pushing the brake pad to put pressure on the valve to recenter it.
i thought keith had a tech article on it. there are definitely previous threads on it w/ some pics.

what they are saying is , the valve in that reciever off all the lines needs to be reset. its the same thing I have in my volvo. its like a brake failure light.
its like somthing you have to push back in place.

You could just unplug the switch. I've done the reset thing many times, the light is still on. I give up!
