ok, now that my truck, 72 f100 4x4 with manual steering and manual drum brakes ,and c-6 swap , is working good , ive finally gotten tired of the manual steering and would love to swap in power steering.
is there a direct bolt in option for this vehicle?
doing any cutting and wleding is more then id like to do for this vehicle, so a direct bolt in option would be great.
what donor vehicles could i get it from?
i was reading a earlier post about using the van ones instead becuase they use a saginaw pump versus the ford pump, can i use it also and what years do i need to look for?
it looks like i have a pulley availble for power steering already , so that shouldnt be a problem. unless its in the wrong place , or for a/c LOL.
thanks for the help.
im starting to look like popeye , please help. LOL

re: more power steering swap questions
I have a '70 F100 4x4 and am wanting to do the same thing. From what I've been able to figure out, the closest swap we can do is from a 77-79 F150 4x4.... some tell me that I will need everything but the differential, and others say it will do just fine by just changing the steering gear... so far, I'm not totally sure. I'd like to do the discs at the same time, so am keeping my eyes open for the whole front end. You've maybe got a good shot over there at Spauldings.....
