How can I stop rust on frame
I have a rusty frame I was wanting to preserve/ stop rust. It has pretty bad surface rust with some heavy pittting in places. I would like to know if there is something I could spray on it to stop the active rust then paint frame?

Yep...POR15 is the way to go.Comes in Flat Black and Gloss Black(and silver). If ya want another color ya gotta paint over the POR15 before it dries.Good luck.By the by....don't get any on your skin cause it'll be there for awhile.

(You may have already done this but...) The easiest way to find it is por15.com The catalog is free and it doesn't take too long to have it shipped to you.

Got mine off ebay some guys will piece together kits with all the stuff you need and they sell small cans of it so you don't ruin a whole gallon.

It is tempting to go through ebay instead in some ways.
